Sophie John

PT, DPT

Sophie earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from MGH Institute of Health Professions and her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from the University of Vermont. Sophie follows a patient-centered approach in treating diverse patient populations and has a special passion for working with endurance athletes, geriatric clients, and patients with neurologic
conditions. She plans to earn her Neurologic Clinical Specialist certification, and is experienced treating patients with conditions such as Parkinson’s, MS, FND, stroke, and generalized balance
and gait dysfunction. She also enjoys treating patients with orthopedic conditions such as lower extremity injuries with a combination of exercise prescription and manual therapy. Sophie demonstrates genuine compassion and caring for the wellbeing of her patients and forms strong therapeutic alliances to empower her patients to be in control of their health. She sees her
patients holistically by considering all aspects of health and wellness in her patient care, and enjoys using creativity to make her treatment sessions individualized, functional, and fun.

Sophie was a competitive Nordic ski racer in college, and has over 10 years of adaptive exercise volunteering experience. In her free time Sophie enjoys trail running, skiing, gravel biking, rock climbing, hiking, and spending as much time outside as possible!
