Dawn earned her Master of Physical Therapy in 2005 and Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2006 from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. She earned her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from the University of Northern Colorado. Dawn enjoys working with all types of sports, orthopedic and back injuries, and helping people return to the activities they enjoy as quickly and safely as possible. She uses manual techniques and customized exercise programs with all of her treatment plans. In 2013 Dawn completed her manual therapy certification from the University of St. Augustine. Being a manual therapist better allows her to assess and treat musculoskeletal disorders using her hands. Dawn has additional training in therapies for TMJ dysfunction, vestibular disorders and vertigo. Dawn has completed the level 2 training for Trigger Point Dry Needling (Intramuscular Manual Therapy). She loves to learn and is always looking for the next physical therapy course to further advance her skills.
Dawn is married and the mother of 2 children. In her free time, Dawn enjoys being active with her family, hiking outdoors, cooking, and playing most sports, especially volleyball and racquetball.
